AC was contracted by Parsons Brinkerhoff/WSP to provide the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) with professional wetland, botanical, fisheries, and wildlife consulting services associated with this 151-mile transmission line and access road rebuild project that extends from Hot Springs southeast to Anaconda, Montana.
The project is located on a mix of tribal, public, and private land and BPA’s existing right-of-way crosses the Flathead Indian Reservation, Salish and Kootenai Tribal lands, Lolo and Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest and a Superfund Site near Anaconda while passing through Sanders, Lake, Missoula, Granite, Powell and Deer Lodge Counties.
In support of NEPA, ESA, Federal, state, and local planning and permitting efforts, AC staff provided senior environmental support and QA/QC reviews for permitting deliverables including wetland delineations, fish and wildlife surveys and habitat assessments, botanical surveys, mitigation strategy, and associated EIS chapters.
