Whether for public or private clients, on a busy county road or well off the beaten path on industrial timberland, we have enjoyed installing all types of bridges throughout the region. Many of these have been in difficult conditions and/or remote locations, and required extensive environmental measures and permit compliance, increasing our capacity to successfully implement your bridge project.
Over the years AC has installed hundreds of culverts throughout the Northwest. We provide realistic pricing and proper installation meeting all fish passage standards.
We quickly respond to emergency situations, successfully addressing flood damage, culvert and roadway failures, landslide repair, storm damage and timber salvage projects for our clients.
We also interface with the regulatory agencies (if required) to provide post-emergency permitting and follow-up.
Many of our highly skilled operators and managers are 40-hour trained and have extensive experience working in the emergency response industry. We have safely and successfully provided these services to clients across the Pacific Northwest.
Our forestry division is highly skilled with a wealth of experience in selective thinning/harvest, hazard tree removals, access road construction and brushing. We also supply thousands of pieces of large woody debris for restoration projects on a yearly basis.
AC regularly sources and supplies LWD for stream and wetland restoration projects. Helping maximize environmental benefits by salvaging timber from blowdowns, road/development removals, as well as providing pre-commercial/commercial thinning and selective harvest. We regularly complete large-volume habitat wood harvest and delivery projects for government agencies, tribes, and other restoration contractors. We rely on our own equipment and staff operators to safely harvest (tip/clean), load and unload rootwads, logs, and vertical pilings. We typically contract with a small local pool of qualified trucking companies (including MWESB’s) and heavy haul transport specialists based on the needs of the project. AC has been harvesting, hauling, stockpiling, and installing large quantities of habitat wood for customers across the Northwest every year since our company began. We pride ourselves on providing quality trees ideal for fish habitat, that consistently exceed specifications for condition, log diameter, length and size of root wad.
Our diverse suite of services includes both constructing and decommissioning a variety of public and private access roads, typically providing this service for utility companies, government agencies and timber companies. Often these roads are in remote and difficult to access locations with a variety of associated environmental concerns.
We pride ourselves on constructing/maintaining or repairing these roads in a proper manner, providing these services while addressing environmental concerns and improving and constructing roadways in the best possible manner.
Additionally, we provide decommissioning services for old or obsolete roadways. This often includes culvert and/or structure removals and associated drainage and stream restoration.
Stream and wetlands restoration is our primary focus. Our operators and laborers are highly skilled and second to none when it comes to experience, and they bring a prospective and expertise above and beyond the construction aspect. Our equipment operators and construction project managers work together with our clients to collectively maximize the benefits of each restoration project, from inception to completion.
Our forestry division is highly skilled in tree tipping and cable and winch restoration methods. We have the experienced personnel and specialized equipment to safely and effectively implement these projects. Our clients have complimented our light environmental footprint, our experienced and respectful staff, and our ability to get the job done right.
