City of Prineville Wetlands Restoration - Aquatic Contracting

the City of Prineville Wastewater System Improvement as Project of the Year for its design by Eastern Oregon Firm Anderson Perry and Associates, Inc. For this project, Aquatic Contracting (AC) was selected as the 1st- tier subcontractor to Rotschy, Inc. for completion of the riparian enhancement and restoration components of the project during the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2016. The restoration work along the floodplain of the Crooked River included the excavation of 4,600 linear feet of new side channel, 14,400 cubic yards of floodplain excavation, and a 6,500 cubic yard vernal pool. Other enhancements included levee breaches, wood bank protection and habitat structures, juniper revetments, tree planting, willow bank treatments, planting, erosion controls, and hydro-seeding.
